Privacy policy

The general principle: this site collects the minimum needed to answer your enquiry, and nothing else. No user accounts, no newsletter, no sale of data.

This is the English version of the politique de confidentialite. Both say the same thing; the French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

Person responsible for personal information

Ahmed Squalli Houssaini, the site publisher, is responsible for protecting the personal information collected. For any question or request: contact@letuteurscientifique.ca.

Contact form

When you fill in the contact form, what you enter (name, phone number, email address and message) is transmitted by Formspree Inc. (United States), which forwards it by email to the site publisher. It is used only to answer your enquiry and to run the tutoring that follows. It is neither sold nor passed to third parties for commercial purposes, and it is kept for the duration of the tutoring relationship and the exchanges around it.

Exchanges over WhatsApp are governed by the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta).

Audience measurement

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, United States) to measure page traffic: number of visits, pages viewed, broad source of traffic. This tool places cookies in your browser. The data is used only to improve the site; it is not used for advertising.

You can block those cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on: the site works perfectly without them.

Your rights

Under the personal information protection laws applicable in Quebec, you may request access to the information held about you, its correction or its deletion. Write to contact@letuteurscientifique.ca and the request is handled promptly.

Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to the tools it uses. The version published on this page is always the one in force.
